Double chamber high speed shrink tunnel, the most flexible packaging solution, with two separate chambers with temperature control. This model is the largest version of the shrink tunnel line. Flexible and versatile, it can operate with a wide variety of heat-shrink films, to shrink wrap products of any kind.
For applications where shrink wrapping at faster speeds are required, we provide a range of ‘double chamber’ shrink heat tunnels. When wrapping at higher speeds, the length of the shrink tunnel is extended in order to achieve the same time period inside the tunnel as with regular applications, in order to produce the same high-quality shrinking result for packs.

Increased Control
Our range of double chamber shrink tunnels provide two independently controlled chambers to give not only the extra length required in high-speed applications, but also far greater control over the shrinking process. This is because two sets of temperature controllers and fan motors are utilised to allow the user to have different heat and air settings at the front of the shrink heat tunnel compared to the back. For very high end applications where absolute consistency of presentation is required this provides the best shrink wrapping solution.
Solutions For Any Requirement
We are able to supply our double chamber high-speed shrink heat tunnels in both polyolefin shrink film and polythene shrink film specifications, depending upon the application and product. When using polyolefin film, our shrink tunnels have an active rotation conveyor, which causes the pack to move faster than the surface of the conveyor and therefore reduces the direct contact time between the film and the hot rollers. This ensures perfect under pack shrinking with no burns or scorches. We would use a heavy duty, steel mesh belt complete with side chains for added strength when running polythene film applications. Both of these features come as standard on our tunnels.
Additionally, we can supply our double chamber tunnels in a stainless steel finish, perfect for harsher environments. Maintaining a rust-free finish and long-term durability, our stainless tunnels are ideal for food wrapping where spillages can occur or for caustic substances.
Unique Features
Our double chamber shrink ovens are complete with an adjustable air-flow system which helps to achieve the best possible presentation for packs. The double insulated curtains at the tunnel infeed and outfeed also improve consistency and reduce running costs by preventing the escape of heat. Meanwhile the solid state relay temperature controllers provide for improved reliability and accuracy of the internal tunnel temperature.
